Klinenberg began encouraging others to express themselves artistically while she was still a child herself. A natural teacher, her warmth and enthusiasm free up shyness and fear, inspiring engagement in the transformative and curious creative process.
While in college, she worked with the Department of Cultural Affairs, Chicago, on a city-wide arts education outreach program, and during a study trip to Oaxaca, Mexico, with the support of the community, brought “Un Taller Para Los Ninos”, an offering to local children selling crafts to tourists, to the Zocalo.
Museums and non-profit community organizations in California for which she has developed arts education programs include: The Bay Area Discovery Museum, Palo Alto Art Center, Blue Room Gallery, Build Gallery, and the Atherton Arts Committee.
In the fall of 2003 Danielle began to offer "Art Party Play Dates"
in galleries and homes in the San Francisco Bay Area. She set up shop
in Chicago in the Spring of 2005 and has produced educational events
for Art Chicago, the Children's Humanities Festival, and numerous
private clients.
