NOVEMBER 5 ARTIST DINNER SERIES AT BLACKBIRD

What a pleasure it has been to collaborate with Chef Ryan Pfeiffer and team in preparation for a Sunday, November 5 dinner as part of Blackbird’s Artist Dinner Series. Those of you who have visited my studio know how meaningful I find conversations about the paintings. I don't believe art takes on its fullest meaning until it is out of an artist's hands or studio, and then made available for those who bring it to life with their own readings and interpretations. 

I am happy to join Blackbird in inviting a small group to enjoy a seasonal feast prepared in response to a group of paintings that will hang at the restaurant that evening. Six courses with wine pairings, and an evening with the artist (me). Also, some story telling and conversation about two recent bodies of work.

I have no doubt the evening will be even more delightful than our studio and restaurant visits have been and look forward to our dinner party.
