Jodi Navta and Ryan Schulz are a young couple whose passion for collecting art led them to open the Waterstreet Gallery (and then marry) in the sleepy resort community of Green Lake, Wisconsin. Their business was primarily a summer affair, and after several successful years they went for broke and bought a bi-level building in Chicago's West Loop Gallery district to 'exhibit fascinating and important works of contemporary art from a range of artists both emerging and established'.

NavtaSchulz Gallery opened in February 2006 to instant critical acclaim from Chicago art world heavyweights like Alan Artner and Paul Klein. Danielle worked with Jodi and Ryan to help them acclimate to the Chicago environment. She met with their artists, re-working statements and biographies, and preparing media releases for the gallery's exhibitions she sent to local and national art media to introduce NavtaSchulz.
